As with duplicate page titles, having duplicate page descriptions is not recommended. A page description should precisely describe the content that is on a page.
If two page descriptions are exactly the same, then either the pages contain exactly the same content (which isn’t a good idea!) or you should change one or both of the duplicate page descriptions to more accurately describe the content on the page.
With duplicate page descriptions, you may end up with multiple pages that appear the same to users browsing the search results. This may be confusing to users who could skip over your website, not to mention that they may have clicked on your website if the description was better written.
By creating high-quality meta description for each page, you have a better chance of delivering the message you want to potential site visitors, and increasing the chance of achieving a higher click-through rate.

Use our concise explanation below to explain this issue via email:
There are multiple descriptions on our website, that all share the same page descriptions.
Every page on our website should be unique, and there is no reason for two different pages to have exactly the same page descriptions.
I’m going to go through and change a few of these so that they are all unique. It may help us rank in the search results for additional search terms!
